1961 Studebaker Hawk Coupe.
Recent frame off restoration using all rust-free sheet metal including NOS hood, doors and tailfins. Engine rebuilt using Avanti pistons, valve train and intake, and a mild performance cam. A replacement correct block was used. Ignition is Petronics electronic. Carburetor is Edelbrock 1406. Clutch, transmission and Twin Traction differential rebuilt. Front brakes are converted to disc using a 2-chamber master cylinder. Chassis and suspension have all been restored. Interior is totally reupholstered including dash pad, headliner and carpet. All instruments have been professionally restored with the tach and clock being converted internally to modern electronics. Radio is a modern AM/FM look alike replacement. All chrome has been replated and all stainless trim has been professionally restored and polished. A new modern AC compressor is mounted to the engine, but no other AC parts have been installed.
