About Carlisle Auctions

The modern-day incarnation of Carlisle Auctions was born in November of 2013, and ever since, the Carlisle Auctions brand has seen unprecedented success. The first Carlisle Auctions promoted event was hosted in Zephyrhills, Florida. Ever since, events in Zephyrhills, Lakeland, Florida and Carlisle Auctions’ home base of Carlisle, Pennsylvania have been a sell out from a consignment standpoint, with millions of dollars in sales taking place at each event. Beginning in the fall of 2019, Carlisle Auctions offers its brand of entertainment to Sarasota, Florida for yet another two-day, 400+ car event. Supported by Carlisle Auctions’ FREE UNLESS SOLD** guarantee, 400-500 high quality classics plus memorabilia cross the block five times a year and each auction welcomes even more bidders and excitement as brand awareness continues to grow. Certain restrictions apply for the FREE UNLESS SOLD** guarantee which are are listed below.

Carlisle Auctions has been featured on Fox and Friends as well as multiple Velocity TV programs, has sold cars for Burt Reynolds, private collectors and has even done charity work on behalf of those in need, all while keeping its loyal enthusiast base a priority.

Why so much success? Well, with Carlisle Auctions, it’s a few different things. First, with the company being family owned, this motto holds true – “with Carlisle Auctions, you’re more than just a number, you are a part of the family.” And what better way to treat a guest like family than to help them save money and make money at the same time. Here is how that works. The savings come in the form of FREE UNLESS SOLD**. These three simple words mean that if a consignment does not sell, the consignor is refunded most, if not all fees associated with the consignment. That means a higher caliber of car crosses the block and even more cars can be part of the auction.

Further, since the Carlisle Auctions Team wants to see all consigned rides sell and connect bidders with cars, everyone will work very hard to assure that a car sells. Through various forms of marketing and promotion, cars are pushed to those looking to buy. That translates to a greater chance of the car selling and as such, more money for all involved!

Ok, so knowing how this all works, why is Carlisle Auctions THE place to come if you're a bidder? Convenience and simplicty! Isn’t it time to get involved? Call Carlisle Auctions today at 717-960-6400. The Carlisle Auctions team is standing by ready to answer any and all questions about the process and the events.

**Vehicles 25 years and older are the ONLY consignments available for the FREE UNLESS SOLD guarantee. All vehicles are welcome, but consignments 24 years and newer will be subject to all applicable fees associated with the auction.**

In the fall of 2019, Carlisle Auctions launched a working partnership with Awesome Joe Auctions. Complete details about the AJA brand are noted below:

Carlisle Auctions Team Bios

Bill Miller, Jr.
Co-Owner & Founder | 717-243-7855

Bill Miller, Jr., is the co-owner and co-founder of Carlisle Events, a title he has held since 1974 when he and the late Chip Miller (no relation) hosted Post War 74.  The Carlisle Events concept and Post War event came to fruition after Chip and Bill were asked to leave a local show because the vehicle they were showing was not deemed to be a classic car.  By giving a home to all types of vehicles, specifically those manufactured post-war, the Millers took a singular show, now known as Fall Carlisle, and turned their passion into a business that is responsible for nearly $100 million in local economic impact.

Lance Miller
Co-Owner | 717-243-7855

Lance Miller is the co-owner of Carlisle Events and joined Bill Miller, Jr. in the day to day operations of the company after the passing of his father Chip in 2004 from the disease, amyloidosis. Lance literally grew up at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds and has done it all, from cutting grass to garbage patrol to managing Corvettes at Carlisle. Lance was raised in an automotive environment from the time he was born and he's doing his part to share that passion with his daughter, Ella Corvette Miller. While Corvettes are front and center in Lance's world, he'll always find time for a true classic or performance based collector car.

Bill Miller III
Partner, Auction Manager | 717-243-7855

Bill Miller, III is the son of Carlisle Events co-founder and co-owner Bill Miller, Jr. At Carlisle, Bill III is directly involved with all things auction. Miller assumed a more hands on role with Carlisle Events following the passing of Chip Miller. During that time frame, he and Lance Miller began overseeing the day to day operations. This partnership, along with the continued involvement of Bill Miller, Jr. has allowed Bill III to further enhance the Carlisle brand.

Tony Cline
Director, Auction Operations | 717-960-6400

Tony Cline is a Biglerville, Pennsylvania native and officially joined Carlisle Events in January of 2014. Tony has been tapped as the Director of Auction Operations for Carlisle Auctions. As such, Tony will be working with the auction team to further consignments for the four auctions backed by Carlisle Events, handle client relations and continue to enhance the Carlisle Auctions’ brand among collector car enthusiasts across the country.

Kim Wickard
Auction Administrative Assistant | 717-960-6400

Kim Wickard joined the Carlisle Events/Carlisle Auctions team in February of 2014 following nearly 15 years of employment with Graham Motor Company in Carlisle. With Carlisle Auctions, Kim is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the auction office. She is the face of first impressions and the front line representative an auction team that, including her, totals five. During auction hours, Kim can be found doing anything and everything necessary to assure buyers and sellers are receiving the VIP treatment they deserve.
